Strawberry cupcakes

Hi guys!!! Yesterday I posted a blog post on rainbow cupcakes! Those cupcakes were delicious! Anyway, one of the three flavours in that rainbow cupcake was strawberry! There were no strawberry bits in it but it had strawberry extract in it.. And that strawberry extract gave it a little something extra, like a berry flavour. Anyway its divine!

Although strawberry extract sounds very exotic you can get it in a lot of places. The one I used is the one in the picture in the top right corner. There are a lot of unusual extracts in the world such as rum, marshmallow and sweet potato can you believe it! There's a link here to an extract website with lots of unusual extracts and essences. If you want check it out.

I actually plan to make strawberry cupcakes in a few days I'm just out of margarine at the moment. And I'm sure there's a recipe specially for strawberry cupcakes somewhere on the internet.Plus you can also make strawberry flavoured icing, frosting e.t.c. But for now strawberry cupcakes get a big yes!! Thanks for reading this blog post on Willemijn's Seal of Approval and BYE!!!

Rainbow cupcakes!

Hello everyone!!!!!! It has been quite a while since I've blogged but I've just been caught up in so much stuff! Anyway, I made some delicious cupcakes yesterday evening and they turned out amazing! Plus the cupcake part is a rainbow cupcake!!! If you dont know what a rainbow cupcake is, it's a cupcake with a few flavorings and colourings. For instance my rainbow cupcakes have chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavour. And you will geuss I put some food colouring into each flavour.

To pipe a perfect cupcake is extremely hard! Trust me I've tried but yesterday my piping went unusually well! Some of you may not call it perfect but for me it was amazing! Oh, and FYI I didn't pipe the cupcakes on the left. I got my cupcake recipe from a magazine called 'Something Sweet' (great magazine). You should check out the website if you can.

Okk, time for my verdict on rainbow cupcakes. My verdict........... drumroll......THUMBS UP! Rainbow cupckaes are like all your favourite flavours rolled into one cupcake! You should really try to make them and be amazed by how delish they are! Anyway thats another bog  post to go on Willemijn's Seal of Apoproval! Thank you and good night!

Favourite chocolate bars

Hi all! So, I'm a bit stuck for what to post on my blog so i'm just gonna post a list of my all-time favourite chocolate bars. I know I have done a 'Yes or No?' on chocolate bars but I'm stuck for ideas so here's a list of my favourite chocolate bars.

5.Wispa
Okay, so when I had a Wispa bar it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! it's soft chewy and filled with chocolate and for that reason Wispa is number 5!

4. Cadbury's Marvellous Creations Popping Candy
So\I got a Marvellous Creations easter egg for easter and the bars inside were soooo Yummy!! There actually is popping candy in the bar the chocolate itself is really yummy! So Cadbury's Marvellous Creations Popping Candy bar is number 4!

3. Cadbury's Marvellous Creations Crunchy Nut
I also got this bar in an easter egg and it was really nice! I like nuts so I loved the bar and I thought it was just a tiny bit nicer than the popping candy bar. And for that reason Crunchy Nut bar is at number 3!

2. Teasers
Malteasers are my favourite mini chocolate snack so when they released a MALTEASER BAR it was the best thing EVER!!! The Teasers bar is a chocolate bar filled with Malteasers so it gets to be number 2!

1.......And number one is............................................Twix!!!!!!
Twix is number 1 on my favourite chocolate bar list by quite a bit. It's all the things I like caramelly, biscuity, crunchy, goey and chocolatey!! Twix deserves to be number one no question! So, Wispa, Popping Candy, Cookie Nut Crunch ( said the wrong thing ), Teasers and Twix are on my Seal of Approval! BYE WORLD!!!

Chicken wings

Hi guys!! Today CHICKEN WINGS are going on my seal of approval. I only had chicken wings for the first time recently and they were sooo YUMMY! I really should have had them earlier. I don't like chicken much but chicken wings are
quite scrumptious! :P! Some chicken wings are spicy but I just eat mild wings.

Making your own chicken wings is also an option. But buying them in the store is WAY easier. On the other hand if you make the wings yourself ( well the chicken makes the chicken) I think there might be a recipe on www.Laurainthekitchen.com but if not just google it!

So, my verdict on chicken wings is...GRRRRREAT!!      They are healthy and yum yum!! I gotta go so BYEWORLD!!!

Happy Easter!!!!

Hello everyone and HAPPY EASTER!!!! Have a great day and I just realised since on this day I eat sooooo much chocolate that I should do a blog post on it. (Pretty picture) Even though it's pretty obvious that I love chocolate there are just so many things to say about chocolate.

1.It's seriously yummy and not that expensive.
You can buy a bar of chocolate for like, less than 2 Euro and it's TOTALLY delicious!!!!

2.You can drink it, melt it, put it in baking and eat it!
There are so many things to do with chocolate that you can't get bored. And hot chocolate is probably my favourite drink.

3. There are loads of different flavours of chocolate.
If you don't like say... milk chocolate, there will be other flavours (white,dark,orange,e.t.c.)

So, those are some of the reasons of which chocolate is AWESOME!!! And you can guess the my verdict for chocolate is...THUMBS UP!!!! Chocolate is YUM! Everyone have a happy Easter and BYE WORLD!!!

Cake pops!

Hallooo!! I haven't been in touch for a while but I've just been sooooo BUSY! I have baked LOADS of things and cake pops is one of them. Instead of rolling cake into a ball though, I used a cake pop mould. It's so much easier and just look how cute my cake pops look! Seriously they are just soo pretty! You can buy cake pop moulds in a lot of places, I got mine in Homestore and More but there's loads of places. You can also buy shaped  moulds like stars or cupcakes e.t.c. And of course you can always roll cake into a ball he old-fashioned way but I would NOT recommend that.

What I did to decorate my cake pops was make a few bowls of icing and dye the icing. I used pink, green and blue but you can use any colours you want. The textures of the icings were obliviously a bit different but it all worked out. I also dunked the cake pops into hundreds & thousands, sprinkles and gold balls. The gold balls just fell off but if you are making cake pops just dip them in sprinkles and small things.

Also if you are getting confident making cake pops try decorate them! Use fondant and buttercream to decorate your cake pops as you want. You need a steady hand and ingredients but it will be fun. There are some really cool recipes online like Stitch cake pops from Lilo and Stitch and minions and just anything! So, my verdict for cake pops is..... YAHOO!!!! Cake pops rule! \Make them and be proud of yourself! BYE WORLD!
